WINGS Global Fund for Community Foundations
The WINGS Global Fund for Community Foundations has published its first e-bulletin, which will be providing a regular selection of updates from the Global Fund for Community Foundations and its partners around the world, as well as news and events from the community philanthropy field.
The first issue includes:
- Announcement of the latest grants made by the GFCF and an update on the incubation process
- Regional focus on Africa, featuring a report on the African philanthropy convening in Naivasha, Kenya, a project success story from the West Coast Community Foundation, South Africa and Cormac McAleer of the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland shares some thoughts on his experience of working as a consultant with Uthungulu Community Foundation, South Africa.
- News from GFCF grantee ICOM and information about the Community Foundations of Canada Conference 2008, including details of how to apply for a GFCF scholarship grant for this event.
